As if there wasn't enough news concerning the Spears family, now is reported that Jamie Lynn Spears who is only 16 years old is pregnant. Jamie Lynn Spears older sister Britney had quite a year herself in 2007 with the media frenzy around her children and marriage. Is Jamie Lynn following her older sister foot steps? Jamie Lynn Spears of the hit show Zoey 101 is pregnant with her boyfriend Casey Aldridge 19, in where they reportedly met at church. Now I wonder what this means for Jamie's career with her show Zoey 101. Supposedly Jamie's mother is okay with this and is going to provide her support. But with this whole pregnancy situation what does it show towards her fans which is our children who look up to her.
What message is this giving to young kids today? It seems that children are becoming pregnant at younger ages now a days. Probably a direct impact of TV and movies and the role models in which they look up too. We all wish the best for Jamie Lynn Spears and her health and family as she goes through such a difficult time at such a young age. We hope the same for her older sister Britney Spears as well and hope Jamie doesn't follow suit.
